Is it a moose that became a detective ? Or a detective who searches for moose?

I read through the rule book yesterday and the only mention I remember of the player count is that if you play with 5 you have less actions each.

But that would mean one character has 25% as many actions as four. I haven't played yet, so maybe I'm missing something obvious... but what am I missing?

A player with a single character has seven actions and a defender card unlimited hand size.

Do you need more card ideas for the D&D Adventure System games?

There's some small differences based on the number of players. 5 player games gets shorted a bit on actions because there's 5 heroes that can be in different areas on the game board. In games with fewer heroes, the heroes are spending more actions/cards to travel to locations to control outbreaks of minions or fuel depots.

Are you missing that Raider Cards are drawn and resolved at the end of each player's (i.e. character's) turn? So raider activity scales with number of players/characters. I played today for the first time and have only just realised I did it wrong by only drawing Raider cards after all players had completed their actions.

I missed this rule and thought the game was kinda easy. This makes much more sense.
