How does the lumber mill work? Space says, "build an action building for free". After this is built you can place a worker there to build another "action" building for free.

What is an action building? Is it any building that is not a "bonus" building?

How do you keep track of who builds this building? Normally you would place one of the coins used to build the building on the space either heads up or tails up to identify who builds it. If you build it for free do you take money from the supply and flip it to the proper side? If so copper or silver (it matters as using all the copper is end game condition).

You might be thinking of a different game. This is Nantucket, it is a two person game, not New Bedford.

Right, it's any of the buildings that have an action space, i.e. not the Bonus buildings. Yes, just grab a silver from the supply and put it on the building. Good questions, we'll have to add some clarification to the rules.
