Hello, we were playing for the first time today and had a hard time understanding this outcome.

WE both drew 3 scenario cards randomly.
We both took 1 and put the rest back.
We revealed. Meaning we both ended up with A1 and A2(blood in the water where any dude touching a water or on a water is destroyed and good guys got the one with the 3 villages, occupy 2 to get victory points.)

But the weird thing is after the layout of both sides. pretty much EVERYTHING was touching a water so the blue player was fucked. He would be out destroyed by going to 90% of the options for VP.

Are we choosing these scenarios wrong? or something elese

Blue is not automatically destroyed when near water. Red must still eliminate blue units in battle.

It says there eliminated when on the hex of water or adjecent hex of water. So If blue ends movement on either of those 2 conditions (blood in the water scenario) do those 3 units die. confusing

WHEN eliminated. Not automatically. They survive if not attacked.

Basically, the scenario just gives the Uthuk player VPs for killing units next to the water. It doesn't auto kill anything.
