Was walking back to the main area that I help run games at, when this caught my eye. (Actually, the guy in the full wrestling outfit, complete with championship belt was what caught my eye).
I am a wrestling fan of sorts - not like back in the heyday of WWF, but I will watch it from time to time and I know how to speak the language.
Game took about 20 minutes and I must say, it was a lot of fun. If I had not already used up my gaming budget for the weekend, I would have grabbed a copy (I think it was 20 bucks).
When it says the game is unpredictable, it very much is. Don't expect any strategy in the game - it is almost 100% luck - though exactly what cards you play when you them has a bit of strategy in it, especially the decision as to if you want to block a move or let it go. But, for what it is, I found it enjoyable and would work with a like-minded opponent.
In short, if you are a fan of the sport, this is a light, fun little game that captures the spirit of the ring, uses all the moves you know and love and has a couple of clever features (for example, if you run out of cards in your deck, you do not reshuffle; instead if you win a die roll with no cards in hand or deck you win via count-out).
