Some diplomatic moves are fairly clear, like the Axis going for Rumania or Finland if they've been antagonized by the Soviet Union, especially if the Axis is going East. And the Wallies going for Norway to interdict the 2 Swedish resources twice per year impacts 20% of Nazi production those turns. Or the Soviets making friends with Finland and Turkey to protect Leningrad and Baku's flanks.

Does anyone have other favorite diplomatic strategies or threats, like having Yugoslavia or Hungary threaten Berlin while the Axis is committed elsewhere? As the Axis, do you always keep a reserve in Berlin, Vienna, and Prague in the early part of the war, just in case? Those reserves won't be helping much on the East/West fronts?

Has anyone activated Iraq for the Axis and marched on Cairo? Or have Spain split Wallie forces in France?

A nice trick for the axis is going for Vichy if the Allies have a red card.
