From the Bower’s Game Corner Gen Con Preview video, both invader factions will not have Speed +1 as a Mech upgrade. Togawa instead will have the ability to drop Trap tokens, and Albion will have the ability to drop Flag tokens.

Jamey was kind enough to add a prototype photo of the Invader faction Characters and Mechs as well.

That Albion character mini looks great, seems like more detail than the others.

I wanna know what the other powers are!!!!

We have another teaser here, showing a replacement character for Björn that will be included in the expansion:

We call him the Ravenous Blue Blob of Doom. His special power is that he can eat other player units so that they never return, but if he doesn't eat an enemy unit every five turns, then he'll eat one of your own units.

EDIT: I should make it clear that it's not my photo. Damien Dupuy‎ posted it on Facebook.

See the image below, granted it's from April 2016 so things may have changed since then.

Togawa's riverwalk (Toka) allowed them to cross any river (max 1 character/mech per turn)

Albion's riverwalk is called Burrow and you can cross to/from tunnels. The image also shows the abilities to place flags/traps after moving your character. Albion's last mech power is Rally which allows them to move to any territory where they have a worker or flag.

I can't tell what Togawa does with the traps, but the 2 covered mech powers are called Ronin and Shinobi.

Phil: Some small corrections:

Togawa's riverwalk allows exactly 1 unit per turn (character or mech, and no workers transported by mechs) to cross a river.

Albio's riverwalk allows movement across rivers from one tunnel territory to an adjacent territory.

Flags do as you mentioned, plus one other thing.

From this snapshot of the April expansion prototype: versions of player board 2A "Militant" is visible (played by green), as part of player board 3A played by yellow. Just different arrangements of the same top and bottom actions, with slightly different payouts for bottom actions. 2A Militant pairs together Move/Gain with Deploy Mech for 3 metal (upgradable to 2 metal cost) with 3 gold payout. In this game that works out well for Green, since metal is a starting home territory.

On the prototype Faction board for Albion:

Faction Power (Exalt):
After moving your character, you may place a Flag token on its territory.

Albion Faction Mech powers:
Burrow: Move across rivers to or from an adjacent tunnel territory
Sword: before combat where you are attacking, opponent gets -2 power
Shield: before combat where you are defending, gain 2 power
Rally: Move to any territory where you have a worker or flag token.

On the prototype Faction board for Togawa Shogunate:
Faction Power (Maifuku):
After moving your character, you may place a Trap token on its territory.

Togawa Shogunate Faction Mech powers:
Toka: Move across a river (max 1 character or mech per turn)
Suiton: Move to/from lakes. In combat on a lake, you may play +1 combat card.
Ronin: not exposed. It looks like the Power icon is under the mech. "Ronin" translates as a mercenary samurai.
Shinobi: not exposed. It looks like the Trap icon is under the mech. "Shinobi" translates as ninja.

Note Green is using the black players' Mechs and character, and Purple is using the Blue faction's same.

Note these are photos from an earlier prototypes phase in April, Jamey is still play testing and balancing, and the final versions in December 2016 may be different.

Inno: Just to clarify, we're not still testing and balancing--that process ended a while ago. We're actively printing the game now.

Pretty sure latest kickstarter update said the expansion wouldn't even have pre-orders. Just direct to distribution.

That's correct. You may be able to pre-order the expansion from your preferred local or online retailer, but not through Stonemaier Games.
