My height doesn't define my skill set. To be a great gamer, you have to have great leadership, great attention to detail and a relentless competitive nature - and I try to bring that on a daily basis.

I just recently switched from a Windows phone to an iPhone and now have a variety of games to choose from, my only question is which ones are worth the purchase? I've been eyeing Tigris and Euphrates, Brass, Agricola, Steam and Patchwork, but haven't made any purchases yet. Thought I would like to hear from those who have played the physical game as well as the digital port. Let the recommendations begin!...

You've got a lot of catching up to do:

https://boardgamegeek.com/blogcategory/109

It depends what you like.

Ticket to Ride
Galaxy Trucker
Carcassonne
Stone Age
Le Havre
Patchwork
Pickomino
Brief History of the World
San Juan
Mü (even if the AI cheats)

They're all good.

I play Ingenious with Leah, Anya, and Ryan and they like it a lot.
I wouldn't bother with TTR, based on your preferences. I installed Europe when it was free, played it a dozen times, and couldn't be bothered to play it again. (Compare to 800+ plays each on two different occasions of installing the base-only Dominion app.)
I have heard that the Patchwork app is really great.
I suppose most of these games will depend on if you are looking for a solo experience or to get online to play against someone.
My understanding is that Dominant Species implementation takes just a bit of getting used to, but makes the game play 30-45 minutes, which makes it an amazingly dense game.
You might want to ask this question again in the Heavy Guild, or post a link to it to see what that community thinks.

The Splendor app is pretty good.

Dominant Species was unusably broken last time I tried it after the major upgrade. Haven't been back to it in some months though.

On the iPhone, Patchwork and Splendor get the majority of my play time. I don't care for the Star Realms app. It's an awkward interface and hard to see and work with for me on the iPhone. Ascension is extremely well done though.
