For some reason senior pictures are taken BEFORE school even starts.

My son spent all morning getting ready. They wanted everyone wearing black and white or the team color of blue. I asked him to send me a snap of how he was going.

The cat tank top seals the deal. Strangely, that is what might actually fix the picture in the 2010's.

My wife is a photographer and last fall shot a senior who sported a man bun. I thought that, well, most of us can laugh at our fashion choices 5 or 10 years after the fact. This guy will be able to laugh the day the yearbook is published.

Way back when, I had a friend who held an axe and looked to the left (at the guy who ended up next to him in the yearbook layout...)

Just look up yearbooks from the 80's and try to not laugh. Factor in these are people who were trying to look their best.

Prediction: His regret in 20 years will not be that he dressed like that, but that he is now a total sell-out.

Only time in the world he'll be able to dress like that without serious consequences or judgment, so maybe it's not so bad. That's kind of the magic of high school.

It would have been sort of an ironic twist if he would have been on the end of the row of pictures, looking at nothing.

You can't see the goth touch underneath.

It reads "Lucipurr".

There's still college. After that, it is merely outside of work and said work with a more limited range in terms of options.

As grey traces of dawn tinge the eastern sky, the three travellers, men of Willowdale, emerge from the forest's shadow. Fording the river, they turn south, journeying into the dark and forbidding lands of The Necromancer...

Facebook pegs him right every time, regardless of hair color or eye color. We have no idea how, and it always amazes us.

For my yearbook photo in 1983, I had feathered hair, and looked pretty standard mainstream for the time. I don't hate it, but I don't like it as my hair was that way for all of a few days, specifically for that photo.

Right after I went out and got it cut all spikey-punk, and dove into my punk appearance (to match my already existing musical tastes).

I most certainly regret that I didn't get my picture done while all punked out.

Considering his eyebrows and his overall look, I'm not surprised he's easily picked out.

Junior picture, 1983, I had wings. My hair flipped out where it looked like I had wings. It was awful. That was the year of the bad pictures with many of my friends.
