Quick question for those who have launched a KS campaign involving reviews:
We sent out some prototype product for review, and should have a number of reviews ready by the time we start our campaign. We hope to have at least a couple of the larger, more visible reviewers offering their thoughts on our product.
The question is what is recommended as far as timing of the release of product reviews? Do we hold all the reviews and release them all on the campaign start day? Do we release them all before the campaign? Some before, some after?
I understand it is good to build up buzz beforehand, but I'm a bit afraid that early reviews could result in potential backers simply not having an active campaign to back and forgetting about it. A review released when the campaign is running can catch such people, but then there's not a whole lot of buzz.
Curious what those of you who have done this before think.
