I've been recently been looking into the miniature wargameing category. I've done a bit of rescreach games wise. And I've come to either warmachine or infinity. I was wondering if any of you guys could throw in your two cents.

Both great games. It comes down to your local scene. What is being played there? After all, if you don't have people to play, it doesn't really matter how great the game is.

Well I see quite a bit of people playing warmachine but I do move often. So it can change quick.

It's actually a good time to try out both. Infinity has a new 2 player starter (Red Veil) releasing soon, and WarMachine Mark III just dropped, so there are lots of new starter boxes available. You could probably buy a set for each game, and sell off one if you don't really enjoy the system without too much of a loss.

I like both personally, but I'm also about a 75% hobbyist, 25% gamer, so I've invested in lots of systems. (I'd also encourage you to check out Guild Ball and Frostgrave.)

Well Warmachine/Hordes is 2nd in popularity only to 40k and has a fabiously much better ruleset. I love both but if I had the choice I'd go Warmachine just based on the fact you'd always be able to find a game.

Warmachine has gotten too big for me.
Infinity is truly skirmish level.
You'll have a much easier time finding local Warmachine players though
