I'm doing a bit of research on online rating databases for abstract games.
Up to now, with various suggestions I have this table

Does anybody here have other inputs / references ?
A snapshot (less updated than the google file).

Federation of European Shogi Associations has ratings from Shogi tournaments in Europe:
http://www.shogi.net/fesa/

(You mean only for games played face-to-face in official tournament contexts, not also ratings from the zillions of online play sites, right?)

Yes, only for official face-to-face tournament game.
Thanks for the FESA link. I had forgotten about it, although I'm in it with about 15 games :-D

I have added it now.

By the way, it seems that your record is split in two there. I will submit a correction.

I already tried; they said it was too much trouble to correct the small number of older records with the wrong name...

Not all official chess tournaments are rated FIDE.

For example, very few USCF tournaments are rated FIDE because the USCF has its own rating system. Years ago, FIDE did not care for players rated below 2200 so most national federations have their own rating system.

You can download 500,000+ chess games at http://theweekinchess.com/twic
Hard to say how many because weekly downloads typically contain 2,000 to 5,000 games.

Hi Daniel.

I'm aware not all chess games are in the Fide database. However my interest lies in online"ratings" databases, which contain also tournament information.

The week in chess is more a collection of games (like chessbase) and can not be accessed in term of individual players / individual tournaments. Do you know if USCF has an online rating database ?
