Sorry no mp3s or itunes but you'll get no apologies for the cornball intro.

Special thanks to Advance After Combat and Guns Dice and Butter for inspiring me to start way back when with episode 1!

Thanks, that opening bit WAS funny, shout out to the Meeples & Miniatures...

So on board with your comments on the MBT maps - but that stopped me from getting it which is a good thing - too much other stuff to do atm. Urban Operations is more up to date visually, albeit on a smaller scale.

And also put off CoH series by the counters while the maps are stunning. Your talk of its many Morale levels is off putting too.

If way back in 1976 or so, John Hill had decided to call Broken something else (Shaken?) it would have been great for SL/ASL. As he'd come via miniatures gaming, it would have been logical for that term - it must have been in some of those rules back then?

Thanks Andrew.

If i could recap, the system Jim Day has developed with Panzer and MBT is worth the purchase. I'm simply displeased with the map aesthetic which all in all is a minor thing.

As far as COH goes, if you haven't given this a go yet, definitely do so. I don't think you need every game in the series but i would recommend picking up Awakening the Bear. Now, bare in mind this is a game and not a simulation. If you keep repeating that as you dive in, you'll be just fine.

Glad you agree with my term theory. Not sure about the origin of the words (break, broken) but I truly think the notion of breaking misrepresents what is actually going on. I vote for the term "hesitant".
