I like the idea of the game and have a friend who's a huge racing fan. I just think the wooden plain car tokens would be a turn off. Has anyone found an alternative?

I ordered these:

https://www.thegamecrafter.com/parts/race-car-red

They have all five matching colors and there is no minimum to how many you can order.

Took a bit of time to receive, and shipping was definitely more than the actual cars, but overall I was pretty happy with them.

Nice. That's definitely better. I was thinking of getting micro machines but wasn't sure if they'd fit in the board slots

I don't feel like I need to pimp Automobiles, but will surely order 42 cars for Thunder Alley.

Game crafter is the cheapest. Eureka is the best if you want formula style. If you want rally style, the rallyman has a metal 5 pack that will work great.

Sam, will you please post a picture of the cars on the board?

A European source for the cars is http://www.p4g.co.uk/en/en_prod_playpiece.asp
