Rustle: the Card Game is a competitive tabletop card game with a simple goal: possess the most points by the end of the game to win.
There are two decks - the Animal Deck (which gives you ponts) and an Action Deck. The Action deck contains three types of cards - Farmer cards (which help you gain more or better Animal cards), Rustler cards (which let you steal points or Action cards from other players) and Barn cards (which protect your farm).
Points come in the form of farm animals (namely sheep). This was the origin of the game (i.e. sheep rustling) and the premise follows this. Each player is a 'farmer' - as farming is a rough life you're also the kinds of farmers that steal from each other.
Each turn, players add to their 'flock' by drawing an Animal card (which is played immediately) and an Action card. Players either play or discard and Action card and their turn ends. Gameplay continues until the Animal deck runs out.
However, hidden among the Animal deck are predators which reduce the size of your flock. As such, it's not just a case of stealing from each other but also about avoiding predators!
The first iteration was up on Kickstarter (unsuccessfully) earlier in the year. I've gone back to the drawing board and made some changes which have made it wayyyyyy better!
