I am looking for a game that would be similar to backgammon meets mancala
Some sort of gammon style game with elements of a sowing game perhaps?
If there is not such a game, i may go fiddle around with this idea and see what i can come up with on my own.
What would i name such a game? Hmm, how about "mackgala"

No idea for similar games but the name "Mangammon" would be excellent if you can fit it into some cannibalism themed game.

Well, both games involve bringing tokens to a "home base"

Backgammon allows for tokens to be captured and essentially put back to start. This game also has an element of luck, and has some math involved.

Mancala involves spreading tokens like "fuel" and does not pre-assign the tokens. This game does not have luck, and has a lot of math involved without being obvious about it.

In a way, both games are kinda related to pick up and deliver games. So if you wanted to put a theme to it, you might consider some kind of trade game.

That said, I might suggest something like Cleopatra's Caboose
