There's no simple explanation for anything important any of us do, and yeah the human tragedy consists of the necessity of living with the consequences, under pressure, under pressure. -Courage (For Hugh Maclennan): The Tragically Hip

Agent Hunter is a quick hidden information/memory/deduction card game for two players. In it you control a group of secret agents. Three of them are placed face down in a row on the table. These are said to be in your three safe-houses. The rest of your cards are in your hand. Each player has 10 cards to work with numbered 0-9. On your turn you can play a card from your hand on one of your opponents safe-houses. Your opponent will then tell you if the card in the safe-house is higher or lower than the number on the card you just put down. Ultimately, what you are trying to do is determine the number on the three cards of your opponents safe-houses to expose them, and end the game.

The other thing you can do is play a card from one of your safe-houses onto one of your opponent's. This is tricky though, because if the number you played isn't the same as the number under the safe-house card then you expose the safe-house you just played the card from.

Lastly, you can change one of your safe-house cards with a card from your hand if you think your opponent is getting too close to guessing it correctly. You can only do this up to 5 times however, represented by 5 markers. Each time making that safe-house worth more.

Once one player has had all their safe-houses eliminated/turned over and exposed the game ends. Then scoring determines the winner. You get one point for each of your opponents safe-houses you've exposed, plus one point for each marker on an exposed safe-house. The player with the most points wins!

Like I said, Agent Hunter is a quick and easy game to play. It makes for a good filler, or game to play while waiting for your dinner to come, or the school bell to ring. If you ever find yourself in a situation like that, I'd recommend checking it out!
