Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has created a comprehensive rules play-aid? Something that incorporates all expansions, provides setup information for playing with all available expansions, etc.

I searched through a good deal of the files and forum posts but couldn't find anything like that.

Thanks!

The expansions don't generally add any rules. There are some minor exceptions for exceptional characters (e.g. The Sentinels or Skyscraper), but they're pretty self-explanatory. The only thing there are really new rules for are for villain teams and, eventually, for Oblivaeon, but those are totally different game modes.

On the other hand, there are a large number of situations that are not really covered by the rules. Spiff has a good document giving many answers:

There are more answers produced when they needed to pin down the rules for the video game:

But indeed, the expansions add very very little in the way of rules.

To elaborate, each expansion is a "stand alone" capable of being played with or without the core game (as long as you don't need the core game markers).

Most expansions don't give you enough heroes to play a full game, though you could certainly combine several expansions (and use a copy of the base game rulebook, which is available online).
