Are there in all the expansions other tokens or markers than first player, damage, progress, ressources and time? Could any token that does not have a special physical appearance make sense?

Some people use dice or glass beads or acrylic tokens (like those from litko). You could get "time" tokens with an hourglass or something, but I've always found the suggested tokens (usually resource) to work fine.

Are there still others that could be useful (maybe because of an other image, if everything is about custom tokens)?

what is it you're trying to obtain? It would be easier to answer your question if you were specific

There are several effects that increase or decrease the statistics of enemy or ally cards. For example, some encounter cards say "all locations in the staging area gain +1 threat". Others give +1 threat to all enemies, or +1 attack to all Orc enemies, or many other effects. There are also player cards that boost Willpower, Attack, and Defense, or Hit Points -- and sometimes, there are treachery cards or shadow cards that reduce your characters' Willpower, or Attack, or Defense. (Most of the time they won't reduce your characters' Hit Point totals, because that's the equivalent of just dealing damage, so any card that would reduce hit points is probably going to be written as "deal X damage to (character)" instead.)

So if you're looking for tokens that could be useful in the game, tokens to track +1 (or -1) threat, willpower, attack, defense, and hit points could be useful. That's five different symbols, with at least +1 and -1 versions of each symbol. (Except for hit points, where a "-1 hit points" token essentially already exists in the game, but it's called a damage token).

What I sometimes miss in card games in general is an indicator for "discard/kill/put back in hand at end of phase". In most cases I can remember that one card, but some games may have a mechanic where a lot of cards exist temporarily.

If you are looking for ideas for custom tokens...

- First Player
- Resource (1, 3, 5)
- Damage (1, 3, 5)
- Progress (1, 3, 5)
- Time
- Additional Sphere (Leadership, Lore, Spirit, Tactics)
- Threat (+1, -1)
- Willpower (+1, -1)
- Attack (+1, -1)
- Defense (+1, -1)
- Exhausted (to use instead of turning the card 90°)
- Ability Used (to show that you used an ability that has a X/phase, X/round limit)
- Special Effect Reminder (to remind you that some effect like "cannot ready" is in place)

Bye
Thanee
