Hi all,

I'm very excited about the idea of this game for the specific purpose of playing with family (from early 20's to early 40's) but it's hard to get a sense for how nongamers such as my Fam handle the various roles after a turn based practice round. Do they find it clunky or overwhelming? (The latter usually being a very hard problem to overcome imo.)

Each role is pretty straightforward. The hardest one being probably the Captain, but even that is not too difficult.

The real difficulty lies in the cooperation between the players.

I've played with kids aged 8, 10, 11 and 12 and it worked fine. The 11 and 12 were able to play the real-time mode, while I played turn-by-turn with the 8 years old.

I've also played with the grandparents of the 11 and 12 years old, and they also picked it up very easily.
