I am a little confused on the Special Rule for 5 Players that states One Preparation Round. I read the description, "If you're playing with five players, then each player gets one free preparation turn. Take those turns as normal except skip the Enemy Phase.

What this is mean in terms a game flow? Does this mean that each player gets a free Action Phase and than you start the Enemy, Action, Strike and Cleanup Phase?

Thanks for any input.

It means that during the 1st turn of each of the 5 players, you don't add a card in he wilds.

So when would you add the card? After each player has had an action?

Player one takes a turn, skipping the Enemy Phase (No card added to the Wilds), goes straight to Action Phase, functionally skips the Strike Phase, performs Cleanup Phase.

Players two through five repeat this process.

Starting with player one's second turn until the end of game, the Enemy Phase is performed at the beginning of each player's turn (Add a card to the Wilds), and then the rest of the turn as normal.

So yes, it is essentially a free Action Phase + Cleanup Phase for each player.

But only for the first turn and than after that, everything is as normal, as far as turns. Correct?
