Are there any plans to keep any cards in continuous print? I ask because I have a reluctance to play with expensive cards, which most cards will soon become, apparently.

Always sleeve any card you play (I double sleeve all my EDH deck because I play in pub and it is much safer - my 14 allfoil EDH decks are worth about 12000$ total and still I am not afraid of any harm (aside from being stolen )

That works against the collectible card game business model. If you play any type of casual format, Vintage, or Legacy, your cards are good forever.

Well, I'm afraid it'll have to wait. Whatever it was, I'm sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman round here?
