This week, I added SW:R to my wish list as a 2, Love to Have. This is the third time I've added or deleted it to/from my wish list as my opinion swings back and forth. In one corner, this sounds like THE Star Wars game that I've always wanted. On the other hand, 2-player games are SO hard to get to my table and $100 is a lot for a game that may sit in my shelf for extended periods. I have an 11-year old son whose taste in games has really grown more complex in the past few months (he loves Scythe much to my surprise!) who I think might like to play with me, but my groups are too big to get it to the table.

My question is, 6 months or so after release, are you still getting this to your table? Has anyone played it with their kids? How young?

I've played it a number of times with my 15 year old son, and at a local get-together I've taught a number of younger kids to play. If he can handle Scythe, I imagine he can handle SW:R.

I have only played once since getting it in April for the same reason. We have 5 in our group, so playing a 2 player game can be hard.
Anyway, we both found it a little overwhelming with it all laid out on the table, but once you've played a few rounds, it's surprisingly easy to play, just a lot to remember.

There is a way to play solo, though, I thought I have seen on here. Maybe that would help get it on the table for ya.

I've managed to play this three times, only with 4 players each time: my friend has two kids who play Imperial Assault daily (13 and 15) and they ask to play Rebellion every time we plan a get-together. I think an 11 year old could handle it.

Our first few plays were long. Playing with 2 should shorten things up.

I've played it multiple times over the past 3 months, with 2 and 4 players.

Also it's on sale at Miniature Market right now for 75$ online...

Jackasses? You let a whole column get stalled and strafed on account of a couple of jackasses? What the hell's the matter with you?

I play regularly with my two sons, age 6 and 8. I still beat them most every time, but we still have a lot of fun with it.

My daughter is 13 and we play occasionally. I tend to beat her, but she's getting better, so I think my streak may end soon!

Get to play it all the time.
Everytime I get to play I talk to one of my regular opponents to find a new time for another session.

I expected the world out of this game, and got it!

Still play it consistently. It's a good 4 player game.

Good to know, sounds like it's holding up well. I'm still seeing plenty of logged plays, always a good sign. I've kept it on my wish list but still haven't pulled the trigger.

Now if only FFG would adopt the same pricing strategy as Riot...

I have played it many times. You can also play on VASSAL which I have 5 times. You just need to set up the match in advance. It works very well.

I'm not familiar with Riot's "pricing strategy"... What is it?

Its $70 which was what pre-orders and the current price is for Rebellion.

MvsM are just being realistic with the MSRP, and since they are their own distributers they probably dont lose a margin.
