Debating myself which to get.
I'm a season player in Star-Trek Attack wing (ship combat game) & would like to get one of 2 to play amount my star-trek friends.

Knowing Frontier using Mage War system, it assume a more mature play system. Love the idea of solo play.

Which has more replay value ? And not overly complicated.

Thanks

Star Trek Frontiers has great solo play, Ascendancy is only a 3 player game. Both are overly complicated so don't expect to be up and running to quickly.

If you have "Star-Trek Attack wing", Frontier is more recommended.

In my opinion, Frontier's problem is starship figure. Too small!

But, I using instead Attack wing's figure. It's very good!

Yes agree, ship too scale is wrong except Defiant :-P

Out of Fleet Cap, Ascendancy & Frontier, only STF support solo play... that why I lean toward it.

BTW, if STF can adopt STAW's battle dice system...that will be even more awesome.

I would have to say NEITHER. This is coming from a guy who loves Attack Wing and Fleet Captains. My suggestion is Star Wars REBELLION. Easy to play / learn but hard to master (especially if you are the rebels).

The complicated, perhaps unthematic, re-implementation of a classic game OR the Rube Goldberg version of hide-and-seek: it's a tough choice.

It is nice to have some good choices for Star Trek games available. I might have to breakdown and get both.
