I hope that you will take a few minutes to read this post.
TIKI Editions is very happy and proud to present its two new games: "1001" and "Huh?". We had a lot of fun to play these two games. I hope it will be the same for you.
This time, let me talk a little about "HUH?", a pure party game.
Number of players: 3-17 • Age: 10 y.o. + • Playing Time: 30 min
When Antoine Lepagnol showed me the prototype, I first thought that it would make a good evening with my friends (we like movies, strange quotes, private jokes, etc...).
After a few games, many weird descriptions and a lot of laughs I was sure to publish it.
Because the more you play "HUH?", the funnier it becomes when you try impossible explanations, just for fun.
The game is really simple:
Huh? contents score sheets, a sand timer but above all a lot of of cards that include more than 200 movies and 100 famous people or characters.
• Each player pick a card and a score sheet.
• Take the appropriate “Number of Players” card and place it on the table.
There are no individual turns in “Huh?”. As soon as a player comes up with a description for a movie, a person or a character indicated on their card, they take the timer and begin their “description”.
Speak, act, sing;
The goal is to have the least number of players understand what you are talking about!
The fewer players who catch on, the better the score. But at least one person must figure it out.
At any time during your description, a player may say “Stop!” or “I got it!” This means that they think they know what you are talking about.
You are free to stop if you are confident that they have caught on, but you may continue as long as the timer is running.
Simple as that. Everyboby can try because in the worst case scenario, you just don't score any points. But It's this kind of game where you can just listen to the players who like to talk and enjoy the show!
“HUH?” is already distributed in France and Canada (end of 2016) but will have its first multilingual (english and french) release at the Essen fair in Germany in October.
Thank you very much for your time,
I will come back as soon as the rules are online, so you can give them a look.
And I hope to see a few of you in Essen in October!
And as I said in my previous post, my apologies for my not so good English. Be sure that the rules of our games where translated not by me, but by a native English speaker (thanks Rye!). So we should be safe
