Does anyone know if the actual 'bag' will be included with the game, or something we have to buy extra?

Publishers don't generally release functionally incomplete games, so I'd expect the bag to be included.

You mean like the monster cup that wasn't included in Eldritch Horror?

So... are the tokens double sided and we have to flip 'em?

It would be weird to have a mechanic with 'bag' in the title and not include it... but I guess it's happened before. C'mon, FFG!

I am perfectly fine if the bag does not come in the box. They would put a low quality one that would increase MRSP (more handwork to place in the box)...and it is easy make by simply grabbing a nearby cup or a plate.

Next thing you will complain that the game does not come with a table, playmat or even a friend to play the game with!!

I would prefer that the game came with a bag because as a consumer I like the stuff I buy to be great value and minimum effort post purchase. FFG already make bags and those are fine.

That said if there is no bag I won't cause a fuss, it's a fairly minor thing and I'm used to supplying my own bags, baggies, hobby boxes and the like.

While it may increase the cost of production it would take very little effort to house all the sealed decks inside the bag when shipping.

A themed playmat would be awesome esp. if it reflected the current deck cycle.

Don't care if they come with a bag or a cup. A cup is like 50c at Walmart. Get yourself 1 cup and you can use it for every game that requires a cup.

More than likely, FFG will either sell a bag separately or have it be part of an event kit.

They already sell a bag separately: the FFG "tentacles" dice bag is well-suited to the purpose. (It's what I use for my Elder Sign "monster cup.") I find myself wondering if this new game will also give me another use for my Bag of Cthulhu.

Whether it comes with a bag or not, I'll probably upgrade to a large mug.

I thought the mat design seen in the demo videos from GenCon was pretty spiffy.

Maybe it will include the bag? If it didn't, wouldn't they call it a "cup" like they do for all their other games? Specifying "bag" seems to imply there's a specific item used in the game and such an expectation is only reasonable if it's included.

Either way this is the game I'm most anxious to see released!

If I have to buy a bag, I might as well class mine up with some custom bingo balls:

I'll be a disappointed if it doesn't come with a bag. Not including a cup is something I understand (they are relatively heavy and take up space). I'm used to supplying a cup for games like Space Hulk or Arkham Horror, and most anyone should own a cup.

A bag is different - we're not talking a paper bag here, but something akin to an opaque dice bag. The game specifically calls out making pulls from "The Chaos Bag", not the "Chaos Coffee Cup From Your Cabinet", and not everyone is going to have a suitable bag just lying around to use. It's a component that the game requires and named, and is unique enough to justify its inclusion in the Core set. I'm sure there will be custom Chaos Bags in FFG's OP kits, but that doesn't mean one shouldn't be provided at the start.

Will there be Organized Play for a co-op? They don't seem to have it for LoTR right now.

Edited to add: Hm, it's not listed among "supported games," but there is a "Fellowship Event".

It would still be better than what they did with X-Wing where you need to buy a separate playing mat, or take the time to measure and put tape down on your table. I guess with a minis game though people expect a certain level of investment.
