Hello!
I'm working on a game that has similar mechanics with Spot it. Am I allowed to create and publish that game? I mean the math behind it is public domain I guess, and the idea to find the connection between cards as fast as possible is common in games.

In the US ideas are not subject to copyright. Laws in your country may be different. I am not a lawyer.
