Yeah, I know I was rushing trying to catch a ride to my next destination and didn't properly back things up. I figured it was fine since I had it on a zip drive (to print out later) and lost in somewhere. Lesson learned (again)!

Until we get to the layout part everything in Vast is done on Google documents. Even then the drive provides a place to put the files.

I dunno, I think before we start worrying about Sam's use of backups lets talk about still using zip drives - wowshakecry

I'm hoping history doesn't repeat itself and that your future endeavors take place within the cloud.

Part of my travels took me to places without reliable internet. Zip drives seemed like a practical solution at the time.

The good news is things are almost up to date again, and in some ways improved over the lost files.

Next playtest on Wednesday!

You keep using that word... I do not think it means what you think it means.whistle

I had most of my files for a PNP on a USB stick earlier this year, when I found out that USB sticks don't last forever. I'd had it for years and it decided to crap out right in the middle of a project. I feel your pain.

The statement above is correct.

Oooh. I was wondering how one would lose a Zip drive, considering the size. Losing a USB stick is much more easily possible.

Thank you for checking in, and sorry for the long delay.

After playing a game with Patrick Leder we had some good discussion over design and direction of the game. So I went back and gave it a good overhaul, streamlining the game and adding some punch where things were too simple and simplifying a few parts that had too much punch.

There was some delay due to other projects and some personal things that came up, but the overhaul is now complete! I will be adding some addition information in the next few days.

I have updated the post about the four roles on the first page with more information and images of each role's player sheet. This should give some idea of how the game is played. Feel free to ask questions and I will attempt to answer them best I can!

We are going to do some more testing, I am very happy with the direction this project is taking.

If we like it after the next few plays we are going to commission a Tabletop Simulator set to give the testing a wider audience.

Looks interesting - just at first glance though I noticed "Summery" should be Summary on the Turn section cool

Top quality feedback right here

Been following this thread for a while, and after trying a recent 'hot' 4x game and hating it, I can't wait for your take on 4x, Sam.

Which one? And why?

This is relevant for market research...
