I've started walking for exercise in the morning before getting ready for work and although I like listening to tunes, I'd really like to listen to some good podcasts (I used to, way back when, listed to Scott and Aldie's podcast and already really enjoyed the Roll 2d6 podcast). Can anyone give me some good recommendations?

(Note: I'm primarily looking for game-related podcasts, but I'd be open to other topics as well, but I'd prefer to avoid politics and pop culture podcasts.)

I asked last week and got some good suggestions:

https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1622465/podcasts

I've had a listen to most of them and they are all a little different too, so I'm sure there's a couple in there you'd enjoy.

Mentioned in that thread
The Long View - in depth looks at games usually with people who have played the game a lot. Lots of general issues/topics about board gaming come out of the discussions.

Ludology - serious studies of board gaming topics

Flip the table - light-hearted in depth looks at the games you find by the dozen in thrift stores etc. An entertaining idea

Secret Cabal - friends sitting around discussing what they've played in the last week, in depth look at a particular game, board gaming news, discussion of particular general topics and usually some RPG discussion as well. Really comes across well.

Punching Cardboard - only listened to the one yet, but seems like a friendly chat and post mortem discussion between a couple of friends

Boardgames to Go
Cardboard Insanity

Haven't yet listened to either of these but I will at some point no doubt.t

Cardboard jungle is good

Flip the table is funny

Thinking Sidways is a non-game podcast but a fun listen.

My Favorite Murder is also interest if you're into that stuff at all

Happy Jacks is good for RPG stuff, pretty funny too.

Cracked is also good.

For board games, I listen to:

The Secret Cabal
The Dice Tower
Flip the Table (Which is more entertainment)

Non Board Game Podcast:

Sword and Scale (This is a true crime podcast and touches on some intense topics. Start at episode #13. )

Astronomy Cast

The Dukes of Dice have the most balanced, level-headed content that is not just another cog in the hype machine. They don't get distracted with long discussions of ancillary pop culture. My sweet spot is medium to medium-heavy euros, and that fits well with a lot of what they cover. Definitely my favorite game podcast.

To keep up with heavy games, check out Heavy Cardboard. Solid content, and they also do a pretty good job of staying on topic.

It looks like most of the podcasts are board game related. I listen to many of them and they are really good. I would add one RPG podcast:

http://oneshotpodcast.com/category/campaign/

and I always tell people they should listen to "Hard Core History" Dan Carlin goes into amazing detail and it is just the most awesome thing I listen to.

These first two are pretty new, so there's not much back-episodes yet.
Our Turn!
Board Game Blitz

The web-comic Up to four players has a podcast: Two Players and Up
that one does wander into movies/TV as well as games.
