What is the point of the rule that allows leaders to shelter in squares?
The only advantage to "sheltering" is that it spares the sheltered unit from morale checks. Leaders don't take morale checks unless they are alone so that seems pointless. Can anyone suggest a house rule to give some reason for leaders to use this tactic.

Aren't the squared units handled/targeted separately? So a leader left by himself outside the square could be forced to take a hit?
