Reading the rules I have a question about Animal Breeding phase.

If I have 1 pregnant sheep, I'll get 1 non-pregnant sheep and the pregnant sheep turn non-pregnant. Since I now have 2 non-pregnant sheeps, could I turn one of them to the pregnant side?

Pretty sure the answer is no. I think the breeding rules are either/or rules: either you can turn all of your pregnant sheep over and gain one sheep or you can turn one non-pregnant sheep to the pregnant side if you have at least two sheep. The first example in the rulebook supports this:
Quote:
You have three sheep, one of which is pregnant. The pregnant one gets a newborn, the other two remain non-pregnant. Afterward you have four non-pregnant sheep.

No. Basically you can get one offspring every other turn.
But once one of your sheep is pregnant, you can trade the other(s) away for more valuable goods (fur), since they are not needed anymore for giving birth...

Hi,

Sorry but I have difficulties to understand. In the rules, it is written "Consequently, your sheep and cattle can breed every other round."

Does this mean that the sheeps, for example, can breed every turn? In case of yes, could you explain how (except with the special card)?

Example: first round, I get 2 sheeps:
Turn__#sheep__1 current pregnant?__1 new pregnant?__1 new sheep?
1________2_____________No________________Yes____________No
2________2_____________Yes_______________No_____________Yes
3________3_____________No________________Yes____________No
4________3_____________Yes_______________No_____________Yes
5________4_____________No________________Yes____________No
6________4_____________Yes_______________No_____________Yes
7________5_____________No________________Yes____________No

This means that you can only get 1 new sheep every 2 turns. Am I right?
This also means that best, with this mecanism, it to get 3 new sheeps. Right?

Thanks a lot for your help

Your understanding of the rule is correct. Every other turn means every second turn.
