Finally, I bought the new expansion. I've long been a fan of DOW but never owned it - but one thing that has always frsutrated my group is how messy the table can get, especially with the "board" sections moving out of place.

So, I'm wondering if anyone has devised a way of joining them all into one playing area?

Im considering velcro strips underneath, with a slight gap between sections so it can be folded up... thoughts?

Have you considered some sort of non-lip mat, maybe like this?

One solution to your frustration is to create a custom made board game. You practically join all 6 locations and the colony (excluding graveyard, Raxxon and Bandit hideout) into one game element.
As it is a one-piece fold-able board, you won't see your location cards moving around.
