I decided to make a basic foamcore to hold all my Quartermaster General stuff in the main box:

It is definitely a tight fit - the board goes in, and the box closes properly, just. The promo cards and substitutes are underneath the Axis pieces, and there is so little room that the promo tiles live in a custom made recess in the foamcore.

It's a big improvement on all the baggies I had before!

Hi Luc,

Can I give you a wee tip from someone who has been gaming for over 50 years? Do not use elastic bands to hold cards together; the elastic degrades and leaves marks on the cards which are almost impossible to get rid of.

Unfortunately, I learned this from experience. I must also mention that your insert looks great.

Regards,

Jim
