Hurray! It took us a couple weeks longer than we planned, but we wanted to integrate all the excellent feedback we received during Gen Con to make One Deck Dungeon every bit as awesome as you all deserve it to be. Having run 400+ people through the game, it was a lot. Mostly positive, but we took the opportunity to make things as crystal clear as possible. We've uploaded the production-ready Print and Play and rules files:

http://asmadigames.com/ODD_PnP.pdf

http://asmadigames.com/ODD_Rules.pdf

There are not a ton of changes from the previous version, but we've tightened up wording in a lot of places both in the rulebook and on the way skills and potions' effects and costs work. We also tweaked the bosses to be a tiny bit harder again.

Rulebook

We are going with a dual rulebook. The game is presented in the 40-page rulebook basically twice. Once in a teaching-style format with lots of diagrams and some examples, and after that again in a purely text-based reference format. Either half of the rulebook contain everything you need to play -- the reference section is a bit more verbose.

Feedback

If you have any feedback on the rules, or the cards, we'd love to hear it -- but we'd love to hear it fast. This game wants to go to print very soon! We're going to be submitting it for proofs in the next day or two.

Sorry, typo. we're going with a Duel rulebook, which you must throw at your opponent from 10 paces.

How about a Dial rulebook?

1-900-RUL-BOOK. 60¢ the first minute, 10¢ for each additional minutes. Kids, get your parent's permission before calling.

I'm still seeing a typo that I reported in another thread.

I think there are a few places in the rulebook where page number references need to be fixed:

On page 7:
"Peril Encounters are explained on page 12." - should be page 14

On page 10:
"Place your dice on the challenge boxes, as described on page 7." - should be page 8
"You may also use each of your skills once (see page 10)" - should be page 12

Thanks! We did take those into account on the last wave of revisions -- sorry for not responding over in that thread.
