Thought I'd share the progress on painting and collecting minis for Frostgrave. I've tried to use the miniatures produced for the game mainly because I like the world thus far created and am trying to stick to it as close as possible. Where there is no official miniature, I use something that fits as good as possible.

*Besides mine though, I would really like to see what other people have done. Please post pics of your warbands, or minis you chose to represent different creatures in the game.

........................................................................

What I have gathered together thus far:
Wizards and Apprentices:
- Elementalist & Apprentice
- Enchanter & Apprenctice
- Necromancer and apprentice

"good guy" warband members:
(mostly created from the Soldier box set)
- 2 Thugs
- 1 Thief
- 2 archers
- 2 crossbowmen
- 3 infantrymen
- 2 Men-at-Arms
- 1 treasure hunter
- 1 Ranger
- 1 Apothocary
- 1 marksman

- 1 crow master (still need a separate crow though)
- 1 javelineer
- 1 pack mule

- 1 trap expert
- 1 tunnel fighter

Cultist warband members
(besides first 4 metal minis, from Cultist box set)
- 1 Knight
- 1 Templar
- 1 Tracker
- 1 warhound
- 1 Apothocary
- 2 Men-at-Arms
- 2 Infantrymen
- 1 Marksman
- 1 Ranger
- 1 Tunnel Fighter
- 2 Thugs
- 1 Crossbowman
- 1 Archer
- 1 Thief
(finished making all these, last ones turned into various skeleton warband members)

Gnoll Warband members:
made 15 of them so far.

Creatures
- 10 skeletons
- 3 zombies
- 4 ghouls
- 2 Wraithknights
- 1 Vampire
- 1 Banshee
- 1 Snow leopard
- 1 Ice Toad
- 1 Large crystal construct
- 1 Imp
- 1 minor demon
- 1 Devourer
- 1 Zombie Troll
- 2 Giant Worms
- 1 Spectre
- # death cultists (borrowed from Cultist warband members)
- 1 small construct
- 1 medium construct
- 3 Ice spiders
- 3 arachno assaissins (stats on Joe's blog)

Here is some pictures of what I have painted:

*Edited to add more. Will add pictures later when I'm not being lazy.

The latest addition to the team.

Devourer from Into the Breeding Pits.
Did slight conversion of a fire beetle mini from Super Dungeon Explore, gave him outer wing cases and wings and re-painted him black/grey.
Seemed like the perfect mini for the Devourer, looks like a peaceful fellow, but when pissed off spits acidic larvae.
Also he can burrow, and the mini is busting out of the ground.

I had looked around at giant beetle miniatures and nothing seemed very good that I found.
Here is a pic:

(FYI, some beetle species have compound and ocelli eyes)

Nice work. I'm trying to motivate myself to continue painting my miniatures. I started then took a break to paint Arcadia Quest and Dungeon Saga.

Awesome!

Dungeon Saga Minis work really well for Frostgrave. I even made a necromancer warband using the endboss form the base set the apprentice and his legendary alter ego (available for mantic points) the wizard.

Thanks.
Got a few more painted this morning. Probably get a few more done tomorrow. After I get another chunk done I'll put up a new pic.

Hope to have two warbands ready to go head to head soon.

3 warbands (4th in the works) put together now, all painted except my enchanter and apprentice. Used all Frostgrave minis.
I'll put up pics when I have a chance.

1.) Got Crowley the Necromancer and the red skeletons. With the abundance of dead stuff frozen in the ground and undead milling around, Necromancers from all around have come to Felstad to gather forces. One such necromacer is Crowley and his apprentice Zulok.
Used the cultist box set skulls and body parts with some conversions and mixing of kits.
Warband list:
Crowley
Zulok
Thug
Thief
Treasure Hunter
Javelineer
Infantryman
Archer
(zombie on standby)

2.)Then The Cult of the Fire Elementalist. In the frozen lands of Felstad, a fire cult has arisen around the charismatic elementalist Agnira lord of Fire (yeah, he is full of himself). His apprentice... that other guy (Agnira never remembers his name, but it is Ignis).
Made some the cultist box set normal cultists, and the metal Frostgrave minis.
Warband list:
Agnira
Ignis
Warhound
Thief
Thug
Infantryman
Ranger
Knight

3.) Madger, Streth and company. This enchanter (Madger) and his apprentice (Streth) ran a construct building company down south before coming to seek a fortune in Felstad. They hired friends and employees to join their crew.
Besides the metal minis for the wizard and apprentice, I used the soldier box set w/conversion for javelineer
Warband list:
Madger
Streth
Thief
Thug (club)
Thug (axe)
Javelineer
Ranger
Marksmen
(Constucts on standby)

4.) In the works, a Gnoll warband with possibly a witch.. still thinking on the wizard. The gnolls are primed and one painted.
