Finally (after reading the French rules) I think I understand the procedure how to add Adversaries and Traps to the Paris and Louvre cards in the solo game; the German rules had led me totally astray. Can someone who is sure about the rules please confirm?
1) Draw Paris/Louvre card when appropriate. Look at # of shields required.
2a) If the mixed Trap/Adversary stack is empty (very seldom if at all), go to 6)
2b) Otherwise (i. e. normally) take a card from the mixed Trap/Adversary stack.
3a) Does # of shields on this card + # of shields on nasties already added to Paris/Louvre card exceed # of shields required? If so, put card aside and go back to 2a)
3b) Is it a Trap, and there is already a Trap in place? If so, put card aside and go back to 2a)
4) Add card to location
5a) Is # of shields added now equal to # of shields required? If so, continue to 6)
5b) Otherwise, go back to 2a)
6) Take cards you set aside and shuffle them back into the mixed stack.
Sounds more complicated than it actually is, I guess

From memory, this sounds right. Aside from #2a, which I don't remember one way or the other.
