I couldn't help but notice that the guys behind Cards Against Humanity tend to release everything under a creative commons license.

Meaning you're free to;

Copy and redistribute the game in any medium or format
Remix, transform and build upon the game

So long as you give them credit, don't make money from it and use the same license.

Personally I think this is great and I wonder why more people don't do it. The cynic in me says that maybe it does more to deter people using it as their are restrictions. Having said that if you were to do a knock off they're basically saying they won't send you a cease and desist.

Do people like this approach? Has anyone come across any good remixes of cards against humanity/secret hitler?
