Is there any way of doing the following, or at least something close to this:

I would love to be able to take the body of a geeklist, save it under a new name, and then modify the "new" geeklist before posting it.

It would make some of what I do here a LOT more efficient.

I think it is highly unlikely that BGG will implement this. I do admire your optimism however.

Depending on how confident you are with XML and scripting languages it is possible to get a Geeklist in XML format (using the XML API) and then to automatically upload the items from that to a new list. I have some Python scripts that I use for this when entering the details of Tabletop Miniature Game plays per month that I'd be happy to share (though you would have to modify a lot to suit your needs).
