Hello, and welcome to PBF 64!

Summary of Game Setup:

-5 player closed event

-We will be using the Colour Out of Space Variant

-All neutral spellbooks will be available:
Recriminations, Umr-at-Tawil, The Mao Ceremony, Undimensioned, The Stars Are Right, Shriveling

-The Colour Out of Space variant:

During the Doom Phase, I will generate one of the 6 effects. Then, that effect triggers at each colored gate per this chart:




-Map will be Earth.

The Players
1. esed
2. psyimp
3. therealbuserian
4. TheLolcano
5. Talae



Choice of Faction:

1. I will determine player order.
2. In player Order, you may choose a faction.
3. If you want to go random, you will be skipped until everyone who wants a faction picks one.
4. I will then generate random factions for the rest of the players in player order. (Please mention any factions you do NOT want to play)



Post Typography
* Normal text for discussions, etc.
* Italics for flavor text/fluff. This is optional.
* Bold for in-game moves and actions.

Game Turn
-Post the actions you would like to take, or a conditional order of the actions you would like to take depending on previous actions.
-Please be precise in your orders, and conditional orders are a great way to keep things moving along.
-Once a map update is posted, your move is locked unless all players agree to allow a change.

Images
Try to start your posts with your faction's banner. Alternately, if you are in a hurry, posting from a mobile device, etc..., bold your factions name at the top of the post. The banners are as follows:










I will usually refer to everyone by their faction name.

Rolling Dice
Use the geekroll-feature to roll your own dice.
1-3 is a Miss, 4-5 is a Pain, 6 is a Kill.

I recommend you to use the following custom die instead of a normal d6:
Xcustomw{3: Miss;2: Pain;1: Kill}
(X = number of dice you need to roll)

Timing issues with certain Spellbooks and Abilities:
° Ghroth & The Thousand Forms: Players will have 24 hours to discuss and find a decision.
° Devolve:
1. If Cthulhu still has Power left: He may devolve before and after his Action.
2. If Cthulhu has no Power left: Instead of skipping him, if one of the moves affects him, he must declare within 24 hrs if he wants to devolve. If not, or if the time is up, play continues as normal.
3. If someone is doing multiple actions in a row (for example Yellow Sign's spellbooks, or initiates a Battle as an unlimited action) that would affect Cthulhu, he must declare within 24 hrs if he wants to devolve. If not, or if the time is up, play continues as normal.

Game Speed
With five players, let's attempt to have a moving game. Different time zones will occur, but so long as we're moving along all will be fine. If a player goes without a move for 48 hours from the last official turn, a message will go to the player and a further 24 hours will be given before a replacement is found.

Looks like a very core faction game, except for Sleeper. I'll set up the map, Great Cthulhu will be first player and we can go from there.

I need Great Cthulhu to choose direction of play and do his first action. My next map will have the correct direction marker and all of CC's spellbooks at the base (I missed them somehow).

Just a quick reminder about the Colour Out of Space variant:

-There is one gate of each color available.

- When you want to build one of these, just simply say: I am building a Blue Gate or a Pink gate or whatever.

- You do not need to build the color gate that matches your faction color.
