I want to play this game with my 9 years old students (around 25) at elementary school. I haven't played this game and I don't know what players discuss in the room . Can you give me some examples of questions between players or some strategies to help my students get into the game. Thanks in advance.

Anything they want. Just go over the roles, types of shares and reveals, how to win and lose, and how leaders are elected and hostages swapped.

Players should be trying to get information as quick as possible and determine where the principal roles are and if they have control of the room and those roles, and if not, how to get control of them.

Greys make for interesting mercenary information brokers.

(replying to old thread but for new people reading this....)

Since my group is a bunch of "I don't know, what do you want to play" people, it helped my group starting with president/bomber and red/blue cards only to get the hang of the game(plus I hadn't reviewed the roles myself in many, many months. Then since one person left for the evening, we replaced a red/blue with the gambler.

Next time I'll put in a couple more easy cards doctor/engineer to encourage players to want to share faster and grays agoraphobe/traveler to encourage people talking about who hostage should be.
