I do find locating standees in the box a problem. So I have coloured my standee bases using a permanent marker:

Characters = transparent
Super Zombies = Blue
Bandits = Red
Normal Zombies = Black

Certainly works for me.

I just bag mine in separate bags. One for each type.

Hi

Thats a neat idea, can i ask did you just colour them underneath?

and did you just use a standard permanent marker pen?

Regards Joseph

Yes I did use a standard permanent marker pen, covering both underside and tops. I used two "coats" on the underside after the first had dried and one on the top.

Impressive that you did this with just permanent marker. They look great! I assume they are holding up well to handling and such?

I used Edding 300 permanent marker pens. By 'criss-crossing' the strokes i.e. 2nd coat at right angles to the first, and covering the top with one coat I got good coverage. I've had no scratches on the bases depsite storing the standees loose in the box.

They are still a little transparent but I like the look.

I'd been wondering about this myself. My plan (whenever I get this) is to give the LN bases either a dusting of white spray paint for a "frosted" look, or just spray paint them completely white (depending on my skill and/or the paint I pick out.)

So do I! I'll be giving this a try, I think...

Just to follow up, I'm doing this right now. I've only done one coat, and only on the underside. I might leave it at that, actually, because they already look pretty cool.

Great idea, I did this too. Just one underside coat using large wedge tip. It makes it so much easier to find pieces.

Red looks the best by far.
I made the zombies red since there's 30 zombies.
Also looks bloody which goes well with blood covered flesh eating zombies.
Also the additional 20 zombie tokens are red.
Thus switched bandits to black, all thieves like black. (I do understand that red matches the bandit's balaclava nicely)

Good point - Red does go well with Zombies.

I just did this, too. Black bandits, red zombies, and green super-zombies. A single coat on the underside looks great. (I tried adding a coat of clear nail polish to protect the marker, but it just took the marker right off!)
