I am playing the AI on the playdeck app to learn the cards. It is late game and Defcon is at 2. I play an card for ops points that gives my oppent the opportunity to perform a coup in central america. The AI selects cuba, which causes defcon to drop to 1 and end the game. Who loses, me for playing the card, or the AI for selecting cuba when therevwere other valid targets?

You created the opportunity for the world to burn - you lose.

Good move by the AI -- you lose.
Bad move by you -- you gave the AI the chance to do this.

Also known as, Defcon suicide.

...unless the non-phasing player instigated the coup, is under Cuban Missile Crisis, and didn't first do the influence removal to cancel CMC.
