I've found some weird dice and I don't know if they come from a game or what. Does anyone recognize them?
They are all 12d and from what I can tell, the yellow one is numbered from 1st to 12th (in Greek) and my guess is it's indicating months(?). The purple one has the zodiac signs. And the blue one has some weird symbols.

The others appear to be symbols for the planets. I recognise Venus (the female symbol) and Earth (circle with a dot). I guess they're something to do with astrology then.

ETA: Oops the Sun is the circle with a dot, but the other symbols match with these...

Astro-Dice has the same symbols but different colors. Your set might be meant for fortune-telling and not part of an official game.

Thank you for your answers. Indeed, i don't think they are from a game.

[confused] What do these dice have to do with tarot? [/confused]

Or is the thought process something like: these dice can be used for fortune telling, tarot cards can be used for fortune telling, so these dice must be tarot dice?
In which case I Ching, astrology and reading tea leaves, among other divinatory methods, all fall under the 'tarot' heading, I guess.

Edit: BTW, cool dice! I'd be happy to have them in my collection

You can buy twelve-sided astrological dice separately. I've some at home because I'm a dice junkie.

I looked it up and found out that the blue one has the 9 planets plus the moon, the sun and one dragon tail symbol and one dragon head (image).

They are actually used as astrology dice.

That would then be:
9 planets
1 moon
1 sun
1 dragon tail
1 dragon head

...

Cool! A thirteen-sided die!

I believe that I'll be hunting them down at Spiel Essen this october. I need a die with wind directions anyway, so might as well get some other dice with strange symbols as well.

Hmm ... the four elements would be nice, and the Chinese zodiac ...

True. 8 planets. Earth is not included
