Labyrinth of Ruin
This is a PBF campaign without moderator. OL decks and interupts will be handled via the md4 hash system. For details see below.

Campaign Status

Quest 1: Ruinous Whispers (Heroes won)
Link to scene 1
Quest 2: A Gathering Foretold
Link to scene 1 scene 2 (OL won)
Quest 3:

Campaign at D2E Tracker

Player list:
Overlord: Letanir
Player 1: Vitezslav as Quellen the Geomancer
Player 2: seregavernik as Andria the Apothecary
Player 3: fitsou as Syndrael the Beastmaster
Player 4: Sadgit as Lindel the Treasure Hunter

Rules:
Game moves (actions, movements, etc) are posted in bold. Non-bolded text will be treated as commentary. I welcome discussion/tactical planning but I need to differentiate game moves from comments and fluff at first glance. Fluff should be posted in italics. Everything else is commentary. Post "End turn" (in bold) after your turn, or something similar. Also, the last hero posts "Heroes done".

As soon as a die roll has been made, another player interrupted the current players turn or the "End turn"-statement has been posted, the submitted game moves are permanent and cannot be modified anymore. The target of an attack has to be included in the commentary field of the roll itself. Anything that has to be declared before a dice roll (e.g. use of valor tokens, etc) must also be included in the commentary field.

Please reread your posts before submitting.

If someone makes an illegal/invalid action (i.e. against the rules of the game), all later moves, rolls etc. become invalid and the game rewinds to that point. Usually, only illegal/invalid actions taken within the last 48 hours can be rewound.

Maximum delay is 48 hours. The timer is off on weekends and holidays. This is flexible. The faster you put in your moves the more fun the game will be! If you know you can't make it/have an IRL problem/have a local holiday, let the other players know! If you know you can't continue playing, let us know so we can find a replacement. This is OK with me, given the commitment this campaign requires. Stalling isn't. Additionally, if a hero player will be gone, he may offer to let another hero player act for him; this isn't required, but it will help keep the game moving.

The Overlord may request slo-mo mode at any time. During slo-mo mode, the heroes should only post what they do up until the first time a die roll is made (either for an attack, an ability, etc.) The Overlord is free to interrupt the hero turn at any point, "rewinding" the game in order to play a trap card or something similar. If the Overlord declines, or after 48 hours, the hero turn will continue.

As this is a PBF-game without moderator we need to use a encrytion system for the OL to handle OL deck and other things. In brief, it works like this:
1. The OL writes down a numbered list of all OL cards he is going to use in the quest.
2. Using md4 hash system, an encrypted code string (called md4-hash) is generated and posted before quest starts. This code is unique for the numbered list, but the list cannot be retrieved using the hash.
3. OL cards are randomly drawn from the numbered list using GeekRoller's custom roll feature.
4. As soon as the quest is finished, OL posts the numbered list of his deck. Heroes can then check if this list generates the same hash the OL posted. If the hash is not identical with the one posted at the beginning of the quest, something is wrong.

Another problem in PBF games is that, unlike in RL games, the OL can often play interrupt cards only after the result of subsequent actons is already known (e.g. playing a trap card only after dice for the following attack are rolled). Of course, this would grant the OL a significant advantage. However, the md4-hash system can help here, too: After heroes agreed on a plan for the next round, the OL posts a hash encrypting his interrupts with corresponding triggering information (e.g. "Play Tripwire on Serena as soon as she performs a move action"). These interrupts are posted at the end of the quest and can be checked by heroes.

Dice Rolls:

This forum offers a function to simulate dice rolls (and card draws) called „GeekRoller“. Here is how to use it. We will use the following codes to be copy/pasted into GeekRoller:

Note: GeekRoller will allow max. 3 kinds of custom dice due to character limit. If you have 4+ different dice, split them into 2 rolls.
Remember to include the target of the attack and anything that has to be declared before rolling dice in the commentary field of every roll. It'll get rid of the annoying code (it's still visible beneath the post if you really need to)!

AutoHotKey
You can use the free software AutoHotKey (AHK) to automatically replace keywords during typing (e.g. "stamina") by forum links pointing to the corresponding images ("[ImageID=2625360 original inline]" for this case). This also works with die rolls. I created an AHK script that is restricted to the BGG site to keep AHK inactive in other applications you are using in parallel. Keywords are not case-sensitive.
If you wanna give this a try, download AutoHotKey and my list of predefined keywords.

For now, the list includes the following keywords:
banner_OL
banner_heroname
map (template code to insert url)
HP (hearts)
MP (movement points)
stamina
action
shield
surge
strength
knowledge
willpower
awareness
blueD
yellowD
greenD
redD
grayD
blackD
brownD

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Keeping the section below only for reference as FoxReplace does not work anymore at the moment.

FoxReplace
You can use the Firefox add-on FoxReplace to replace keywords (e.g. "stamina") by forum links pointing to the corresponding images ("ImageID=2625360 original inline" in brackets for this case). So when I am finished a writing a new post using the forum editor I just press shift-F9 to get all keywords replaced by links in one go.
This also works with die rolls. Open the dice roller, type keyword (e.g. "blueD") for the dice you want to roll, add a second die separated by a "+" if needed ("blueD+yellowD") and press shift-F9 to get keywords replaced by code for the dice.

If you wanna give this a try, download FoxReplace and my list of keywords. Import list into FoxReplace and you are done.

I think that we have to make one important decision.

I can offer to look through one interesting variant:
a game with 2 support (healer archetype) heroes. 1 will be a healer-buffer (spiritspeaker/prophet) and other - one more buffer (bard). On the other hand that will demand to take couple damage-dealers as both supporters are not good at that. Of course it sounds quite crazy but still... Why don't you give your opinins?

In case of a standard matchup we will get this:
fitsou desperately wanted a warrior.
I actually don't want to play fr healer if it is possible. In that case I would prefer to play either for Bounty Hunter or for Geomancer.

What about a Treasure Hunter as Scout? Never seen one played.
If you wanna play BH or GM, I would actually suggest GM. Seems to be the stronger class overall.

Based on your comments, this is what I came up with. Mostly because they were on my want-to-play list:

Mage(Viteszlav)
--------------------------------------------
Geomancer - Quellen

Scout
--------------------------------------------
Treasure Hunter - Lindel/Silhouette

Warrior (fitsou)
--------------------------------------------
Marshall - Alys
or
Beastmaster - Syndrael
or
Knight - Talhia, Mordrog

Healer
--------------------------------------------
Disciple - Augur, Ispher
or
Apothecary - Andira

@Viteszlav: I vote against double-healer strategy, because it will probably decrease the amount of our effective attack actions. Though the idea is interesting and may be used when playing a campaign which you know inside and out.

Some thoughts on heroes:
- I think we can make a party with powerfull group passive abilities, such as: Leoric (reduces damage suffered) + Andira (forces monsters to suffer a wound for an attack), Champion (valors) + Shadow walker (and it's buffed shadow soul). Such a group becomes very annoying for OL, I can tell you
- I've never played LoR campaign and Apothecary, but this class seems very interesting to me. If you want I could play it. The list of heroes, which I can suggest for this class: Andira, Avric, Aurim, Ashrian, Jonas, Sahla (he can probably interact somehow with other heroes classes with his feat)

I really like the idea of a team with lots of passive hero abilities. That's also the reason why I suggested Andira and Alys in my previous post.

However, if Viteszlav likes to play Geomancer, I think, Leoric is not the best choice. Geomancer seems to be very fatigue-hungry, so Quellen might be better here. Especially if we do not play with a healer that also regenerates fatigue for the team (bard, prophet).

I want to explain my eagerness to play geomancer.
I've played versus him - it's really annoying.
Geomancer has blast, mass-stun, extra-surge, teleportation to stones. But, yes, he is really fatigue-suffering hero...

For now, the list includes the following keywords:
banner_OL
banner_heroname (needs to be updated)
map (for template code to insert url)
HP (for hearts)
MP (for fatigue, movement points)
stamina
action
shield
surge
strength
knowledge
willpower
awareness
blueD
yellowD
greenD
redD
grayD
blackD
brownD

If you are using something similar or better, let me know!

I'm using Notepad++ and it's regular expressions for substitute, for example (# is a unique modificator for conveniency):
expression = (#hp)|(#mp)|...
substitute = (?1{imageID=2625361 original inline})(?2{imageID=2625359 original inline})... ([] are used instead of {}, of course)

I hate Champion, so if you guys are ok Champ is a big no for me.

Marshal is Alys (they fit perfectly)
Beastmaster is Durik, Reinhart or Valadir

Opinions?

from Marshal and Beastmaster I choose Beastmaster.

Quellen is a better choice I think.
Don't know about Marshal/Beastmaster because never played with them, but Marshal seems more powerfull at a glance.
For the scout we can also play BH/TH, they seem pretty badass. Also I would like to propose Thaiden (his ability is awesome, especially for TH), Tetherys as a scout.

I would actually favor TH over Shadow Walker. Any other suggestions for a good TH hero? Synergy with Silhouette is pretty obvious, but maybe there are other options that would fit even better, especially in context of the team.

I don't see any scout hero oriented directly for the group profit. I already proposed Thaiden: his hero ability allows to search a token without need to be adjacent to it (like Greedy, but without fatigue cost) and gives a possibility to do a search instead of a miss (if possible of course).

Thaiden is good. So as Treasure Hunter.
