Why do HMB baseball barnstorming?

It frees you from a season-long schedule or any schedule for that matter. There's no league schedule and no worry or guilt about not completing the season..

You only have to have games for your single barnstorming team. Stats, if you need them, are kept for a single team.

You play games against any opponent when you like.

You can play in many eras especially 1920-1950.

You can play a variety of teams, such as semi pro teams, all star teams from a town, company or company-sponsored teams, Negro League teams, and even other barnstorming teams.

You can use a great variety of parks, published or imagined, throughout the US.

How do you set up a barnstorming baseball team and its opponents?

One way would be to pick the best or better team in a BA set as your semi pro barnstorming team. Pick and play against any free minor league/Negro League teams in the Free Stuff pages on

Use players from different teams in an actual HMB season set to form your pro barnstorming team and play minor league teams from the free sets mentioned.

Use the best "semi pro" team in the Century League set and pit it against other teams from that set and minor leaguers.
