How does the initiative track work? What does it do?
(As distinguished from the Order track, which I understand/)

Also, is their any easily missed rules to watch out for?

initiative track is used to break ties when bidding cylinders. The first player to activate an actor (not any card, must be an actor) will be first on the initiative track for the next turn.

The single sheet player aid which has the Actor descriptions also lists 3 'often missed' rules.

It also determines turn order during the rehearsals (days 4 and 6).

Easily missed: start with 5 prestige poings. Low bid that goes first in turn order also gets 1 prestige point.

Do what you can, with what you've got, where you are.

I can't find in the rules where it says you start with five points.

It was an accidental omission in the English version of the rules.
