So, for gunnery, a roll of a six is always a hit.

There is no similar rule that I can see for a bomb run. So even though I rolled a six, the cumulative effects of (1) bomb controls inop, (2) interphone out, and (3) bad weather = -7; are insurmountable?

Is there a chance?

But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you… And I will beat you.

Afraid so, there is no similar rule for bomb runs.

Okay - I played "off target", rolled an 11, and still got at least 5% of the bombs on target.

Which mechanism applies to Tables B-1 & 2, enemy fighter waves? I've always assumed a minimum of 1 wave in the Target Zone even if the modified roll is <1.

As per the tables, in the target zone you will always encounter a wave of fighters. Unless the roll on B-3 is a No Fighter Attack or Random Event.

What we are talking about is the shot on said fighters.
