Hi, when a player investigates, does s/he turn the evidence card face up first then decides which leads to place the card, OR does s/he have to decide which lead first, before looking at the evidence card?

Just having different interpretation of the rule when we played the game. Hope to have a judgement call! laugh

It's not the years, honey, it's the mileage.

The rules for the Investigate action say this:

Quote:
Choose one of the unconfirmed Leads and play an Evidence Card from your hand face‑up below that Lead.

So, I'd say you have to choose the lead first, and then play a card to that lead.

You must commit your evidence to the investigation scene first, then reveal it.

Be way too easy to "plant" evidence otherwise.
