It's the knee to the face after the kick to the crotch that elevates it into greatness. That's a fine touch that separates good directors from brilliant directors like Mel Brooks and Quentin Tarantino.
Superb response - an object lesson in how to take a man down. She doesn't freeze or get cowed, like the bastard wants her to. And those were some superb, well aimed shots, too.
Big advocate of women's self-defense here. My Granddad passed on some of the unarmed techniques he learned in the army to my Mum and her two sisters; there were woman's self-defense classes at our college; knew an Israeli woman who used to teach it at a social center down in Whitechapel (Israeli women all do two years National Service). It's a damn fine - dare I say "empowering"? - thing.
