A bit sad to see that the 'Twilight Struggle is no longer #2' hate votes actually bumped Through the Ages down again.
Not having been on BGG for that long, to me it seems that recently there have been many games storming their way to the top 25 relatively quickly. Scythe, Blood Rager, SW: Rebellion, Pandemic Legacy, 7 Wonders: Duel and Codenames are all pretty new. Through the Ages is less surprising, as it's a more or less drop-in replacement for a classic.
Does it just look new to me, or has the top 25 always been relatively volatile?
Currently own six top 20 games, by the way

Thanks as always for this!
New, "hot" games always get a little bit of an early bump and a lot of them slowly slide back down into their more permanent resting place - although the last 2 years has seen more than usual climb into the top 10-20 VERY quickly. I don't know if it's a function of more gamers, better games, or something entirely different (probably a combination of a bunch of factors).
Viticulture Essential Edition will soon pass Viticulture. Sooner or later Viticulture may leave top 100.
Wonder how high The Gallerist will climb?
