My daughter is hankering after a robotic bat for Xmas !!!

I like to theme the gifts, so I'm after recommendations for kids / family games that include Bats or even a single Bat

There is a free print-and-play game called Bat Match you could print out. Other than that, it seems not too many games feature them. Maybe some artwork on witch-themed games.

The Battle of Five Armies has a number of bat plastic miniatures, but it may be more advanced than you'd like. You might see if someone has an incomplete copy for sale that you could buy just for the minis.

Despite your hope, there is not even any inherent symbolism; gravity is simply a coincidence.

Labyrinth (and its descendants I believe) have at least one bat token and is a fine kids game. Cranium Zooreka! has a bat exhibit but is pretty much a roll & move game ... for me the only saving grace was the (early) mathematical pedagogical value of converting resources. I know Codenames has a card with the word "bat", I'd be surprised if there wasn't a Dixit card with one or more bats on it.

Baseball Highlights: 2045 has Robotic Batters. And just bats, though perhaps not necessarily the ones you were alluding to.

How old is your daughter?
It would help with suggesting games.

Non-gaming related - several zoos in the UK (Chester and Bristol amongst them) have zookeeper for a day type experiences with fruit bats.

She's 7.

We have a lot of Haba games, some card games and she plays the family type games with us too. Camel Up, Colt Express, TTR, Takenoko etc.

That's interesting about the zoo's. Chester isn't too far
Got to be ten

Sounds like Flattermax is the game you're looking for, especially if you enjoy Haba games. Still fun at age 7, still fun for adults, too.

Thank You!
Quick look on German Amazon and there's only one used copy & they won't ship to the UK. I'll keep my eyes open though

You can also search by category if entries are listed with Animals: Bats in the further details.

There is only one page which Castle Flutterstone is listed:

https://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgamefamily/19070/animals-...

I suspect there is more but using just bat in your general search is going to be a big task

Good luck and if you get Flutterstone let us know if it fits the needs of your daughter, interested in the game myself for my 2 boys

Ghost Chase has several cute little bats, cats and hedgehogs. My kids love this game!

I can see that you already have adventure time love letter but there always is Love Letter: Batman, which is pretty batty. Great game for all ages.

Not sure of others really.
